Gold Bar, WA (July 6, 2025) — A tragic accident occurred on Friday afternoon, July 4, on Highway 2 near milepost 32, just outside of Gold Bar, resulting in at least one fatality.

The crash happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. on July 4th and involved an unconfirmed number of vehicles. Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene, but despite their efforts, one individual was pronounced dead at the site of the collision.
