Mason County, WA (March 15, 2025) - A school bus with kids on board was involved in a collision in Mason County on Thursday afternoon, March 13. Washington State Patrol reported the collision occurred at John Prairie Road on State Route 3 at approximately 3:30 p.m.
The wreck happened when the school bus rear-ended another vehicle. That vehicle was then pushed into an oncoming car. Two high school students on the bus at the time sustained injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. Police in Mason County are working to determine the cause of the accident.
