Auburn, WA - DUI Crash Results in Injuries on SR-18

Auburn, WA (March 25, 2025) - A driver was arrested for suspected DUI following a 3-car collision on State Route 18 on March 24. The Washington State Department of Transportation reports the wreck occurred just after 7:30 p.m. Three vehicles were involved in the crash that occurred in the eastbound lane of the roadway, just wast of West Valley Highway.

At least one vehicle caught fire at the scene and was entirely consumed when officials arrived. At least one person was hurt in the accident and treated by EMS on-site. All eastbound lanes of the roadway, as well as one westbound lane, were closed while emergency and fire crews worked to clear the wreckage and help injured victims. Local drivers were forced to find alternate routes while the scene was occupied by responders. Police in Auburn continue to investigate the incident.
