Tacoma, WA (June 1, 2025) - A traffic collision on southbound Interstate 5 near Tacoma is causing significant disruptions. The incident occurred at milepost 132.39, just south of the State Route 16 interchange, around 9:11 a.m. on Sunday, June 1.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is advising drivers to expect delays and to consider alternate routes if possible. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. Paramedics worked to help injured victims at the scene before transporting them to the hospital as needed.
