Tacoma, WA - Injuries Result from Collision on SR-21 near Carney Rd

Tacoma, WA (January 26, 2025) - First responders were sent to the scene of a car accident in Tacoma on January 26 that ended in injuries and traffic delays. Reports show the wreck occurred at approximately 11:21 a.m. on State Route 21 near Carney Road. At least two vehicles collided in the area on Sunday morning, causing at least one person to sustain injuries.

Paramedics and other emergency personnel worked to help injured victims and transported them to area hospitals for further evaluation and treatment. Police in Tacoma are working to determine the cause of the crash. State Route 21 was blocked near Carney Road while emergency crews worked at the scene, and local drivers were forced to find alternate travel routes.
