Port Orchard, WA - Auto Accident Results in Injuries on SR-16 near Burnham Dr

Port Orchard, WA (June 14, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a collision on State Route 16 eastbound at milepost 14.86, near Burnham Drive, late Saturday morning. The crash occurred at approximately 11:16 a.m. on June 14, and caused significant traffic delays in the area.

At least one person sustained injuries, though the number and severity of those injuries have not yet been released. Washington State Patrol and local fire and medical personnel were on the scene to assist the victims and clear the roadway.

As of 2:18 p.m., the incident was still under active investigation and cleanup, and the affected stretch of SR 16 remained partially impacted. Drivers were urged to avoid the area or seek alternate routes. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
