Chimacum, WA - Car Wreck with Injuries on SR-19 near MP 8.8

Chimacum, WA (May 19, 2025) — A motor vehicle collision occurred late Monday night on State Route 19 near milepost 8.8, close to the E Chimacum Creek Culvert. The crash, reported around 10:19 PM on May 19, temporarily blocked traffic in both directions as emergency responders rushed to the scene.

According to initial reports, at least one person sustained injuries in the crash. The extent of those injuries has not yet been released, but medics were observed providing on-site treatment before transporting victims to a nearby medical facility.
