Des Moines, WA (May 25, 2025) - On May 23, authorities shut down a section of Des Moines Memorial Drive South following a fatal motorcycle collision involving a bus.

According to King County Metro, the motorcyclist and the bus were involved in a head-on collision. The motorcyclist lost their life due to the crash. It still hasn't been confirmed if there were any passengers aboard the bus when the accident occurred.
