Pend Oreille Co., WA (March 12, 2025) – The Washington State Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal collision on March 12. Reports from authorities show the incident occurred on Highway 20 near Ruby Creek, approximately 19 miles north of Cusick. According to the Washington State Patrol, at least one person lost their life in the collision. Emergency vehicles blocked the road in the area and local drivers were asked to use alternate routes.
