Suffering injuries in a car crash is one of the most difficult experiences a person can go through. Yearly, more than 3 million individuals are hurt in traffic accidents in the US. Sadly, tens of thousands of victims end up losing their lives due to the nature of their injuries. On average, the US sees over 6 million auto accidents per year.
Driver negligence is the main cause of the majority of American car accidents. Drivers who allow themselves to travel while intoxicated, distracted, fatigued, or at unsafe speeds risk causing severe or even fatal crashes. Yearly, more than 90% of reported auto accidents are caused by the actions of negligent drivers. For example, over 30% of the national accident fatality rate is caused by driver intoxication.
