Seattle, WA (March 6, 2025) – A fatal traffic collision took the life of a 12-year-old girl on March 6 in Seattle. The Seattle Police Department, paramedics, and other responders responded to the scene at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shortly after lunch, the girl was struck by a vehicle while walking to recess. The vehicle, which was unattended at the time, rolled approximately 75 yards backwards on 20th Place, directly into her path. Police are working to determine the exact cause of the incident.
