Chimacum, WA - One Airlifted After Collision on Hwy 19 near Egg & I Rd

Chimacum, WA (April 24, 2025) – A two-car crash resulted in injuries in Chimacum on Thursday, April 24. Multiple responders were sent to the scene on Highway 19 near Egg and I Road and Tall Tree Lane just before 11:30 a.m.

The Washington State Patrol is currently investigating the circumstances of the wreck that sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries. Reports show the victim was airlifted from the scene of the crash. At this time, the specifics of the injuries sustained have not been reported.

Drivers in Jefferson County were asked to seek alternate routes while responders worked in the area, creating significant traffic delays. Police continue to investigate.
