Spokane Co., WA - Driver Killed in Crash on N Idaho Rd

Spokane Co., WA (April 28, 2025) - A fatal traffic accident occurred in Spokane County near the Washington-Idaho state line on Friday, April 25. According to information from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, two vehicles collided just south of East Trent Avenue. They were identified as an Infiniti and a 1955 Chevy. Liberty Lake police officers and Spokane County deputies responded to the scene to render aid and investigate.

According to witness statements, the Infiniti was headed north on North Idaho Road when it slowed down to turn left. As this was happening, the Chevy tried to pass at high speeds in an oncoming lane, causing the vehicles to collide. The driver of the Chevy was ejected during the crash and later pronounced deceased at the hospital. At this time, the name of the deceased victim has not been reported. Police in Spokane County continue to investigate the incident.
