Tacoma, WA - Car Wreck Results in Injuries on SR-512 near Milepost 8.74

Tacoma, WA (May 14, 2025) - A traffic collision was reported on westbound State Route 512 at milepost 8.74 in Tacoma, near the SR 161/104th St E/31st Ave SW interchange. The incident began at approximately 11:26 a.m. 

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), the left lane on the off-ramp was blocked due to the crash. Motorists traveling through the area were told to expect delays and to use alternate routes if possible.

Emergency crews were on the scene helping injured victims and transporting them to the hospital by ambulance. At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported.

Police in Tacoma continue to investigate.
