Auto accidents have become one of the leading causes of serious injury and death in the United States. Every year, over 6 million motor vehicle accidents are reported nationwide, injuring approximately 3 million people and claiming more than 40,000 lives. Unfortunately, the majority of these devastating crashes are the result of driver negligence, including distracted driving, speeding, intoxication, and fatigue.
In Washington State, thousands of drivers and passengers suffer injuries in car crashes every year. More than 700 traffic fatalities occur annually across the state. Speeding alone contributes to over 30% of all collisions, while reckless and careless driving behaviors continue to endanger lives on our roads, particularly in busy cities like Renton.
If you’ve been injured in a car accident in Renton, WA, you may be facing a long road to recovery. Hospital stays, physical therapy, and lost income can quickly lead to overwhelming medical expenses.
