Thorp, WA - Fatal DUI Crash Takes One Life on I-90 near MP 100

Thorp, WA (May 6, 2025) - A man from Bellevue allegedly caused a fatal accident by driving under the influence on Sunday night, May 4. According to reports, the collision occurred on Interstate 90 near milepost 100 when a 22-year-old operating an SUV, allegedly intoxicated, rear-ended a motorcycle and took the life of the rider.

The crash also forced a pickup truck towing a trailer, operated by a 56-year-old Snohomish man, to hit the bike. No one else suffered injuries in the collision. The Bellevue man was arrested for DUI at the time of the crash but is now facing vehicular homicide charges. Police in Thorp continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
