More updates will be provided as they become available.
We hope for the full recovery of the injured victims.
Car crashes remain a leading cause of injury across Washington, and Tacoma is no exception. In 2023 alone, numerous collisions on Tacoma’s busy roadways resulted in serious injuries, disrupting the lives of residents and their families. From I-5 to Pacific Avenue and beyond, accidents continue to occur far too often, many of them due to avoidable driver negligence.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), human error contributes to over 90% of all traffic accidents in the U.S. Some of the most common—and preventable—causes include:
In Tacoma, congested roads and fast-changing traffic conditions only amplify these risks. Distracted driving remains one of the biggest threats on city streets and highways alike.
When you or a loved one is hurt due to someone else's reckless behavior, the aftermath can be overwhelming. From emergency care and hospital bills to lost income and emotional trauma, a single crash can change everything.
