Tacoma, WA - Two Hospitalized After Crash on I-5 near Tacoma Dome

Tacoma, WA (February 1, 2025) - A traffic accident caused injuries in Tacoma on January 27. Reports from authorities show the incident occurred on Interstate 5 near the Tacoma Dome. The Washington State Department of Transportation reports the crash happened around 5:47 p.m. between four vehicles.

Three right lanes were closed and traffic was diverted to the HOV lane and the other two left lanes. Two people were sent to the hospital after the accident. However, the extent of their injuries has not been reported at this time. Police in Tacoma continue to investigate the details of the accident.
