Tacoma, WA - SR-512 Scene of Injury Accident near Steele St

Tacoma, WA (June 9, 2025) - A collision on westbound State Route 512 near Steele Street South caused significant traffic disruption and resulted in injuries on Saturday afternoon, June 7, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The crash was reported at approximately 1:40 p.m. near milepost 0.7. Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided aid to those injured in the incident. The number of individuals hurt and the extent of their injuries have not been released at this time.

As of 4:49 p.m., the right lane of SR 512 westbound remained blocked while authorities investigated the crash and cleared the scene. Drivers were advised to expect delays and use alternate routes if possible.
